Happy leap day!!! This year we get an extra day, what are you going to do with today?
For me I spent it working hard, exercising, eating pizza, and enjoying my time with my family. Although today started out as pure chaos: someone driving on the wrong side of the road, a spider crawling on the inside of the windshield, and a depot that was so disorganized we couldn’t find our product. On the positive side here out the things I’m thankful for:
- The person driving on the wrong side of the road was in the other lane, not mine, and the truck behind me had just moved to directly behind me, so we were both OK, and the person must have realized he was on the wrong side, because right after the meadian went back to a turn lane the person got back on his side of the road. Thank goodness!
- Benjamin had noticed that I had a freaked look on my face and asked what was wrong. I pointed to the spider as we were driving 65 mph down the freeway. I did good to not scream and completely freak out. Thankfully Benjamin killed the spider and I was able to keep my eyes on the road. Yes I’m extremely afraid of spiders…and all bugs.
- Even though the depot was a total mess this morning, hubby and I got out before 3:30am. Found a lot of our product, just had to look on other loads. What we didn’t find then, we found later when we had finished and come back to the depot to unload our empties. Yay!
After all the chaos today my leap day was and still is fantastic! So much to be thankful for!
