The title of this post makes me want to drool! YUM! I made this for my neighbors anniversary, and even though I did not eat a slice, I tasted everything throughout, and I’m satisfied! …I really wanted to steal a slice, not just to taste, but for a picture, but mainly because I wanted to eat it. Unfortunately I figured that would not look good presenting them with a slice missing from their cake.
So now lets start making this beauty! Cream together vegetable oil and sugar. Add eggs in one at a time, and then add the vanilla. The small of vanilla is just lovely, isn’t it?
I sifted all my dry ingredients together, to make sure everything was mixed in well, and then added it to the wet mixture.
How good does this batter look?!? You better believe I got a spoon, and tasted this, raw dough…I don’t care…it was delicious!
Separate batter into three cake pans, and bake them away for about 20-25 minutes.
While brownies are baking, start putting the filling together. Yes during any process with powdered sugar, the kitchen aid, counter, myself, and anything else that is around gets covered in it.
Whip the frosting all together, and set the bowl aside…okay okay after you take another spoon and taste it. (There are no eggs in this, so feel free to eat as much as you want lol!)
Once the brownies are cooled completely, place one brownie cake on a plate and frost the top of it with the cookie dough filling, then place another brownie cake on top of that, and frost that layer. Add the third layer on top of the cookie dough filling, but do not frost. Place in the fridge for about ten minutes.
While everything is chilling, make the ganache. What a sexy food word to say, and I mean just look at the beauty of all that chocolate, definitely needs a sexy name.
After letting the ganache cool, just slightly, pour over the brownie cake and let it fall off the sides. Use a spatula to help the ganache fall off the sides if needed.
With the extra cookie dough frosting, put into a piping bag, and decorate the top and bottom of the cake. Add some mini chocolate chips, because you know there’s just enough chocolate already. lol Slice it up and enjoy! I would suggest serving this with ice cream, preferably Blue Bell vanilla ice cream.
