Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Cup
Ahhh…the gooeyness of this cookie is amazing! Soft thick cookie, with bursts of warm chocolate, with a creamy frosting that has little bits of chocolate throughout. This cookie cup is amazing!
Creaming together the butter and sugars, then add the egg and vanilla. Finally a recipe that calls for enough vanilla.
Slowly incorporate the flour mixture. Trust me if you do it all at once, chances are flour will be going everywhere.
With my cookie scoop I scoop the cookie dough into the mini cup cake pan. I must say I really enjoy my little cup cake pan, it’s the perfect size for a dessert, whatever dessert it might be. So plan on more recipes coming from me using this pan and my cookie scoop.
Here is a dilemma I run into a lot while baking, I still have cookie dough waiting to be put in the pan, to go into the oven, but I need to make my frosting. So while my Kitchen Aid is busy sitting there with cookie dough, thankfully I have my handy dandy Ninja, to make my frosting.
Will you just look at the mini chocolate chips flowing into the frosting? Isn’t it beautiful? Yes, yes it is!
My grand idea was to pipe the frosting though this little hole.
Needles to say I worked my butt off just to get this much frosting onto my cookie cup…ladies and gentlemen, it’s not worth it! So my solution…
A plastic spoon! It worked wonderfully to get the frosting on the cookie cups.
It may not look as beautiful as the piping could have looked, but does it really matter when you have cookie dough frosting on a cookie dough cup? No, it certainly does not matter.
Now get to enjoying this delicious dessert! You will be so glad you did!
P.S. The frosting needs to be refrigerated, so if you frost the cookies, refrigerate them.
