A simple easy post, but this is very important to me! Why? Because this is my absolute favorite candy! I once went two years without eating one, because I was trying to be healthy…I’ll tell you, it was not worth it! So this year I made up for all previous years…I bought a case of five, and in three days I ate all five! For the pictures here I think it was the third one I ate. I was editing photos, and was craving chocolate (as I always do), and figured I’d take my camera out, and capture this momentous occasion! lol
Start by peeling off most of the foil. I keep the foil on the bottom, so that the chocolate doesn’t melt on my fingers. I try to eat these slow, just so I can savor every bite.
I nibble off the very tip of the egg, to expose the creamy fondant. By the way I never knew these were filled with fondant until I read the package this week! I’m shocked, apparently I love fondant, well…at least creamy fondant in my chocolate eggs.
With another bite the two-colored fondant comes through! A perfect egg: orange yellow yolk, with the egg white. I’m calling these eggs all natural, because they are not white on the outside! Can I do that? I believe I just did!
At this point I peel the rest of the foil off, lick the fondant that is coming out, and nibble more on the chocolate.
It’s getting smaller, just keep nibbling and enjoying every bite.
It was at this point I realized I finished off that last little bit faster than I wanted to. But now since it’s all gone I guess I’ll edit more pictures…or do I go back to the pantry and grab another egg? I did have to work to eat this one, just so I could show you guys. Whelp, forget editing…I want another egg.
Enjoy your day, while I indulge in my delicious Cadbury Crème Egg.
