We all want to start the year off right; I mean it’s a chance to start fresh! This year I have long term goals, and short term goals. I believe goals are important, because that’s what propels you to achieve what you want in life, and where you end up. Yes you still get places in life without goals, but are you really going where you want to, and how do you track your progress?
To end out a great year last year and to start this year, Benjamin and I went on a walk with the dogs outback of our house. Now that may not seem like a big deal, but it had been 15 weeks since I took a walk out back, and that’s because on September 13, I tripped/slipped on grass, not even a foot out of the backyard gate, and I broke my leg in three places. I wasn’t able to walk on my foot for 13 weeks, and then it happened, got permission from my doctor, and started walking. Finally after I could walk without terribly limping (I still limp, just hard to teach my leg what to do with foreign objects in the leg), we took our dogs out back. After 15 weeks, I finally got a real walk, and it was wonderful!
I’m also working in LightRoom and trying to see if I like it or not, and I’m still unsure, but the editing was incredibly easy. It’s just not as spot on a Photoshop. I’ll continue to work with both until I figure out which one I like. 🙂
Goals for this year: Pick five long term goals and five short term goals. Write them down in a journal, share with everyone, or just with that special someone that you trust. I shared my goals with my husband, and dogs.
